Wenatchee Omnium Stage Race
Presented by Wenatchee Valley Velo and the Wenatchee Valley Sports Council In Cooperation with Pazzo Velo

date: May 12 - 13, 2007

location: All three events take place within an eight-mile radius of Wenatchee, WA.

course description: Time Trial Course - Rolling 9 mile out and back. Criterium Course - 1 Kilometer - 4 Corner Criterium with a small hill. Start and finish at the Wenatchee Centennial Park. Road Course - Big Loop 27 miles with 2,000 feet of climbing. cost: $60 for all three events (Juniors racing in the junior C/D races $30). Individual events: $15 Time Trial, $20 Criterium, $25 Road Race.

prizes: $10,000 - mostly cash with some merchandise primes and prizes. You must START all three events to be eligible for the overall cash and prizes. Click here for the 2007 Prize List

registration: Pre-register by May 8 with standard USCF release and check payable to Wenatchee Valley Velo c/o David Douglas 4207 SW Hill Street, Seattle, WA 98116. Online registration available until May 8 at Active.com Online Registration (note there is an additional 7.5% service fee) Late registrations after May 8 add $10 for the Omnium. Late Registration: Friday night from 6 PM to 8:30 PM at The Coast Hotel 201 N. Wenatchee Ave. Please register early.

race numbers: WSBA numbers will be used for all senior category races. Masters racers can not use their WSBA number for this event and will be issue a new number that can be picked up the morning of the event. Junior C/D will use their Junior Race Series numbers. Rental numbers will be available at the race for all non WSBA members.

notes: *Time Trial starts listed are approximations. Real start times will be posted after registration is completed at the Coast Hotel (201 N. Wenatchee Ave) and at the start line. Juniors C/D Time Trial course will be 5 miles. *** Juniors C/D road race does not go up the big hill. Junior’s categories race together but are scored separately. directions: From Seattle: US 2 East(Stevens Pass), follow the signs directly onto Wenatchee Ave.: I-90 East (Snoqualmie Pass), at Cle Elum look for Wenatchee exit, follow signs over Blewett Pass, at US 2 go right and follow directly onto Wenatchee Ave. From Spokane: I-90 West, at George look for Wenatchee exit, at stop light in Quincy go left and follow into East Wenatchee, stay in middle lane at second light (Fred Meyer on left) and go over the bridge into Wenatchee, take first exit right after the bridge onto Wenatchee Ave. To Time Trial and Road Race start at ALCOA: From the Coast Hotel take Wenatchee Ave. due south past downtown. Stay in the left lane and follow the signs to Malaga. This road becomes the Malaga-Alcoa Hwy. The start/finish and registration is at the ALCOA parking lot 10 miles from Wenatchee.
